In a field that’s constantly evolving, staying current is not just an option—it's essential. Our Continuing Medical Education (CME) program ensures that you stay at the forefront of podiatric medicine and trends, with expert-led workshops, cutting-edge research presentations, and annual seminars dedicated to the professional development of exceptional podiatrist and healthcare professionals. Among the CME courses we offer are two seminars given each year.
Annual Contemporary Approaches Seminar
Contemporary Approaches provides a meaningful update for practitioners in the fields of diabetes, wound management, and limb salvage. This event is a one-day, in-person continuing education seminar for podiatric and other medical specialists with a focus on lower extremity pathology. For over 20 years, this course has covered everything from conservative care to surgical intervention, discussing new innovations in how our health delivery system is improving outcomes to our patient populations. The seminar is given in memory of Louis Anthony Alchermes, DPM.
About Louis Anthony Alchermes, DPM

Richard O. Schuster DPM Memorial Biomechanics Seminar
Our annual biomechanics seminar is a professional podiatric event that combines the best of the West and East Coasts Biotechnical theories. These lectures are spread over two full days (one in person, one online) and discuss new concepts in research, biomechanical principles, gait analysis, and clinical interpretations on multiple foot and lower leg deformities and how they affect the patients we treat daily.
