Dr. Godoy is an Associate Professor at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM), where she has taught for over 15 years. She began her career after completing a rigorous foot and ankle surgery residency under renowned surgeon Dr. Guido LaPorta, developing expertise in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Godoy is dual certified in foot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. In 2016, she achieved a milestone as one of the first women in New York to receive advanced ankle privileges.
Dr. Godoy is also co-owner of the Godoy Foot and Ankle Center in New Jersey, where she practices alongside her sister, Dr. Heidi Godoy. A passionate educator, she teaches nationally and internationally on Charcot neuroarthropathy, a subject that holds special significance for her. She remains dedicated to advancing patient care and surgical education in her field.
