Dr. Anthony Jabra, DPM is a board-certified podiatric surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, with advanced privileges in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery in New York. He is a faculty physician in the Department of Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and practices at Harlem United. Dr. Jabra earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016 and completed his residency at Metropolitan Hospital/Harlem Hospital, where he served as Chief Surgical Resident.
Dr. Jabra is actively involved with the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a representative of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His responsibilities include overseeing the training, selection, and assessment of podiatric residency programs.
He has extensive experience in various surgical techniques, including joint fusion, tendon transfers, and complex deformity correction. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented at national and international conferences on topics ranging from hallux valgus correction to flatfoot reconstruction. He is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring residents, leading surgical workshops, and providing lectures on foot and ankle surgery.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Jabra enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is married to his classmate from podiatry school, and together they are raising two toddlers.
