Dr. Lopata is a highly skilled podiatrist specializing in advanced wound care and tissue healing. Growing up in New Jersey, Dr. Lopata developed a passion for medicine early in life, leading her to pursue her podiatric medical training at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Following her graduation, she completed a rigorous three-year podiatric residency program at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY, where she honed her skills in foot and ankle care.

Eager to further specialize, Dr. Lopata undertook an additional one-year fellowship in advanced wound care and tissue healing at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. This advanced training provided her with the expertise to manage complex wounds and guide patients toward effective healing strategies. Aside from fellowship training, Dr. Lopata is board certified by the ABPM and board qualified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the ABFAS.

Since joining the faculty in July 2022, Dr. Lopata has dedicated herself to teaching students, residents, and patients the importance of proactive approaches in wound care. Her passion for education and patient empowerment drives her commitment to delivering outstanding care and sharing her knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals.
